Dancer Information
o Dance Prism’s Nutcracker Touring
Cast performs in all cities and rehearses at Dance
Prism’s West Concord rehearsal studio on
weekends.
Those seriously interested in the Touring Cast should attend the Concord auditions.
o Regional
casts perform in one city only and rehearse locally once weekly:
usually in Andover & Worcester/Grafton on Tuesdays, in Fall River on Thursdays or Fridays, in Littleton & Needham/Sudbury on Saturdays.
o Auditions
open to all ballet-trained dancers age 7 & over, casting
unrelated to studio affiliation.
o Audition
dress:
Females-- solid color
leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, hair in a bun.
Males-- black,white, or
grey tights, white close fitting tee shirt or leotard.
No warmup garments except
in cases of injury.
o No
fees charged to dancers at any time.
o Limited stipends available for dancers of
professional level.

Audition Levels:
o Level I: girls & boys 7–9
o Level II: girls & boys 9–12
(including any student under 5’ tall;
students over 5’ tall should be prepared to stay for Level III if requested)
o Level III: intermediate students, 12
through adult, male and female
advanced dancers 12 through adult, male and female (advanced dancers should be prepared to stay for Level IV if requested)
o Level IV: advanced dancers, male and
female, women on pointe—selected from Level III; please
do not attend Level IV only.
